⚠️ Owners must ensure a QAOV Registration is on file for all changes in occupancy.⚠️
WHO SHOVELS SNOW, WHO DISTRIBUTES "DE-ICER"?
Owners and residents are responsible to shovel snow and spread de-icer. This is voluntary.
Fortunately, it's not all that hard to prepare for, and to address, snow & ice.
VOLUNTEERS
Before the first snow, the Board requests volunteers to perform Snow and Ice removal.
If nobody is available, the Board can, if so requested, call upon our property management's maintenance service. They will shovel and de-ice at a cost, and are subject to their availability.
SNOW & ICE SUPPLIES
Cold weather supplies are stocked in the QAOV supply room or “shed.” They are in an exterior door, opposite the main entrance, with de-icer, snow shovels and the like. Resident access to these supplies, is allowed & encouraged so residents can themselves address conditions.
Access the Storage "shed" using the same Keypad access code as the Community Room
PREMIUM JANITORIAL (onsite Thursdays)
Our janitorial service will periodically address walkway treatments this winter, and replenish supplies and equipment upon request.
Please contact the Board if you identify an unsafe condition.
RESIDENT & OWNER NOTIFICATION
Before December, the Board will post information about snow preparedness throughout the building; E-mails will also be sent to owners and residents.
CLOGGED PLAZA DRAINS
In the Fall, a few drains on the plaza may clog with silt or debris. If you are a homeowner or resident, please do unclog the drains if you are able. There is a broom available in the storage shed.
